TCG Card Shop Simulator Sets September 15 Launch for PC and Consoles

O.P. Neon Games has announced that TCG Card Shop Simulator will leave Early Access and launch as version 1.0 on September 15, 2026. Developed by solo creator Ding Shen Sia, the trading card shop simulation game has attracted more than 3.5 million players across Steam, Xbox, and Windows PC since entering Early Access in September 2024.

A Solo-Developed Success

This marks the next stage for a project that grew from Sia’s interest in monster-raising games and their associated trading card games. Based in Malaysia, Sia founded O.P. Neon Games and developed TCG Card Shop Simulator around the excitement of opening booster packs and building a personal collection.

The game places players in charge of their own local game store. They can stock shelves with booster packs, set prices, hire staff, host tournaments, and expand a small shop into a thriving business. Players can also open packs themselves, adding collected cards to their own growing collection.

New Trailer and Tetramon Mode

The release date announcement is accompanied by a new trailer inspired by the colorful Saturday-morning animation style associated with the 1990s. It combines nostalgic visuals with the game’s central activities: opening packs, collecting cards, and managing a retail business.

The 1.0 release will also introduce the long-requested playable Tetramon TCG mode. Until now, the primary focus has been operating the shop. With the new mode, players will be able to build decks from the cards they collect and battle with them, giving their stores a larger role as community gathering places.

Tournament Mode will also be part of the full release. This feature allows players to host competitions involving non-player characters, adding another activity to the shop-management experience. These additions will appear alongside the game’s existing customization options, pricing strategies, and business systems.

Release Platforms

TCG Card Shop Simulator will launch on Steam for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Players can wishlist the game on their preferred platform to receive launch notifications. For more information, click here.
