The Philippine Collegiate Championship (PCC) has officially launched its fourth season, setting the new campaign as a push to expand collegiate esports while building stronger pathways for student gamers across the country.
Season 4 carries the theme “Siklab ng Puso” or “Spark of the Heart,” which highlights the league’s goal of energizing Filipino student athletes and strengthening its role as the premier collegiate esports league in the Philippines. The launch was held at the Marco Polo Hotel with Converge ICT Solutions as official presenter, and the event introduced a broader direction for the league that now stretches beyond Metro Manila.
Expanded National Reach

One of the biggest developments for PCC Season 4 is its expansion into the Visayas and Mindanao regions, with the new season aiming to reach more than 1,000 schools nationwide, giving more students access to structured competition, community engagement, and programs that connect esports with education.

Representatives from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Call of Duty: Mobile joined the press conference to show support for the season’s plans. Also present was Ms. Ana Dulce B. Yango, Project Lead of the Sports Development and Management Unit at the Office of Student Development and Services under the Commission on Higher Education, who expressed support for esports development programs like PCC. PCC brand ambassador Manjean Faldas, who is also an esports shoutcaster and content creator, likewise took part in the launch.
Tournament Lineup

The Season 4 competition will feature returning titles Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena. PCC also teased the addition of a third game, though more details and the tournament schedule for all three titles were not announced at the launch.
The league’s total prize pool for the season is PHP 750,000, with college students across the country invited to compete for regional and national honors. Open Cup, Regional, and National Leagues will be open to registered student teams from across the Philippines, creating a pathway from local competition to the Grand Finals.
The final pool for each game title will include champion teams from four partnered school associations: SCUAA, FESSAP, CESAFI, and the Davao Esports Enthusiast Association. Those teams will head into Campus Playfest 2026, described as the largest collegiate celebration focused on esports, gaming, cosplay, hobbies, and community.
Education And Community
PCC Season 4 continues to be guided by three strategic pillars: Education, Leagues, and Experiences. The league’s Campus Roadshow and industry-led Esports Masterclass sessions are set to visit more than 20 schools and reach over 1,500 participants.
Another initiative under the program is The Next Gen, which aims to involve more than 300 student teams this season. Unlike a standard competition format, the program will use a hackathon-style challenge, and the winning teams will earn a cultural immersion trip to connect with students in Thailand and attend the Thailand Game Show.

The league emphasized that its long-term focus is not only on growth, but on consistency and sustainability. Benson Te, CEO of WP/Gaming, said PCC views real growth as building opportunities that can last over time rather than simply making each season look bigger.
Support From Partners

Converge ICT Solutions, the title sponsor, reiterated its commitment to grassroots development and student empowerment. Ms. Orange Ramirez, the company’s VP and Brand & Marketing Head, said Converge supports PCC’s effort to reach beyond Metro Manila and bring digital experiences to more parts of the country.

Moonton Games also highlighted the value of grassroots programs, with Ms. Lee Viloria, Head of Business Development and Partnership, Esports PH, noting that the company’s continued partnership with PCC helps strengthen the MLBB community nationwide. Representatives from Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena pointed to a strengthened partnership with the league as part of an effort to grow the competitive ecosystem and create more opportunities for students to connect with esports professionals and content creators.

The event also included the WP/Connect Fireside Chat, a panel discussion moderated by Ralph Aligada, CEO of LVL100. The panel covered topics such as the sustainability of grassroots esports programs, the role of consumer brands in the gaming community, and the presence of gambling brands in esports and gaming. Panelists included Lee Viloria, Poy Abanilla of Converge ICT Solutions, and Manjean Faldas.
CCEPlay Launch

The launch also marked the unveiling of CCEPlay, the community platform behind PCC’s programs. CCEPlay is designed to connect, reward, and activate communities through digital quests, surveys, and online activities.
Offline, the platform also serves as a digital passport for event attendees, letting them join booth activities, scan QR codes, claim freebies, and enter raffles. Its Community feature allows users to create posts, start polls, and interact with others in a less algorithm-driven environment.
The platform will also support the Campus Rally event, where school communities can gather, boost their points through participation, and earn prizes and rewards while strengthening school pride.
